Good Afternoon,

I hope everyone is doing well.

Finally the house is getting tiled and I can start to unpack all of my furniture and belongings that has been sitting in the shed in boxes since I moved back to Sarina from Melbourne in February this year, it's only been 9 months but who is counting???

Not much has been happening in my life lately just work and looking after Ethan and a little bit of socialising.

Long Time no Posts

Well, where do I start. Not a lot has been happening around here just working, scrapping and socialising.

I became a godmother to a georgeous little girl Kobie Paige Cook in June that was pretty exciting. Had my birthday also in June.

Ethan turned 4 in July and it only seems like yesterday that I was still pregnant and waiting for his arrival.

I entered some of my scrap layouts in the local Show and won first prize, that was pretty exciting considering I didn't think I had a chance with this at all.

My friend Sandra has opened her own online Scrapbooking shop called Scrapbooking Premiere all should go and check this out, there are some great prices and a great VIP Membership offer. Go to http://www.scrapbookingpremiere.com.au/

Anyway I'd better get back and do some work.

On Friday night I attended the latest Magical Memories Friday Night Frenzy. Below is the page I came up with.
The photo's are Ethan playing in the park at Canterbury Sportsground, in Melbourne which was just around the corner from where we lived. Ethan loved going to the park whether it was with me or with a friend of ours Kim

March Cyber Crop

Hi All,

On the weekend I participated in the Scrap with V Cyber Crop. I had a ball.

I went to my good friend Kristy's to participate in the Cyber Crop, there were three layout challenges and a photographic challenge.

The first challenge was set by Karlene and we had to use 3 different fabric or felt, two different ribbon or lace and 5 buttons, below is my take on the challenge

The second challenge was set by Kristy and we had to use bubble wrap and paint it and do a print on the paper as well do either machine stitching or hand stitching. This is my take on the challenge.

The third and final layout challenge was set by Joanne and it was a sketch challenge and guess what I WON this challenge yee haa. This is the winning layout below.

Well I hope all is well with everyone and goodbye for today.

Tuesday, 26th February 2008

Hi again,

What a day!

It started at 6am, when I got up and feed the chooks had breakfast got Ethan out of bed made breakfast for him got dressed for work got Ethan ready for daycare then went to work.

Work was good learning heaps and heaps every day (new job).

When I got home, my Mum and Lou were here they had bought Tex (horse) up to the house from down at the yards. Tex is a big Thoroughbred Gelding, he is very green and has been off the race track now for about 3 years.

In the next few weeks all I'm going to be doing with Tex is lunging long and low to build up his top line and then I'll start riding and see how we go.

Anyway it's getting late here so I'd better go to bed.

Goodnight to all

First Ever Entry

Hello,

Well where do I start?
I recently attended a my first cyber crop with Scrap with V and had a great time. On the Friday night there was four challenged posted that needed to be done over the weekend. We played bingo, did a mystery class and made a small album and little bag for the album to go into. It was great, below are my layouts from the challenges.

The above layout was a challenge to scrap a layout about yourself.

This challenge above was called Grandma's Sewing Box, all the materials used had to be from a sewing box. The photo was taken of Ethan at the Melbourne Cup in 2007, Ethan was such the little poser that day a lot of the young ladies that had been drinking were always stopping and asking if they could take his photo and he would put his hands on his hips and put a big smile on his face.

The above was a sketch challenge, and thankfully I had these photos for this.
The last challenge was your family, so I did a layout of just Ethan and I.
